
RECRUITMENT
The Recruitment unit was our introduction into one of the fundamentals of Human Resources - hiring employees. We were taught concepts like what traits to look for in new hires, how to promote a newly opened position, and what information new hires need to know as they are brought into the organization.

The Internal Job Ad & External Job Posting assignment had us create notices of a vacant position both within and outside of the organization. We also got exposure to creating these things with a set budget in mind.

The Social Media Recruitment Guidelines demonstrated our ability to create a policy that would be presented to all new hires of a fictional company. This policy addressed the organization's rules around social media use and how it represents both the individual, and the organization as a whole.
