COMPENSATION

The Compensation unit gave us an introduction to accounting, and how it applies to the Human Resource discipline. We covered basic and intermediate accounting principles and learned how to apply them to a workplace setting.

The Accounting assignment covers basic accounting principles such as journalling, ledgering, and balancing.

The Payroll assignment takes the basic accounting principles and applies it to Human Resources through payroll calculating and reporting.
